the Delaware Mineralogical Society’s web page.
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion and education of mineralogy,
paleontology and the lapidary arts. We have
monthly meetings at the historic Greenbank Grist Mill at
Prices Corner. We have speakers/programs that
promote the goals of the society at each meeting.
DMS is proud to announce that our junior division is in the process of becoming affiliated
with the Future Rockhounds of America through the American Federation of Mineralogical
Societies (AFMS).
DMS is a member of E.F.T.A.
We conduct several field trips a month to fossil and mineral localities in the
tri-state area and further afield. Many of our DMS members belong to other clubs in
the tri-state area creating close ties and providing opportunities for several cosponsored
field trips a year. Please visit

Delaware Mineralogical Society sponsors an annual mineral and gem show on the first
weekend in March. Be sure to visit our show
page for directions, coupons, show times, dealer information and much more.
Come join us on the second Monday of each month at the Greenbank
